Valor room choice

Need help on room choice.

 

Just wondering what deck is the best for picking an oceanview room on the Valor? Any any specific rooms that you'd recommend?

Don't know about the Valor yet. We have been on the Riviera deck on the two previous cruises and they were great. No noise, but, we were in the middle of the ship on both. We will be on the upper deck on the Valor when we sail in November with a group of Veterans.:D

You want to avoid those yellow oceanview cabins- these are directly under the galley-

 

If you dont want to go the route of the guarantee oceanview-- stay on the riveria deck-- as close to the aft elevators without going past will be a good choice. It puts you close access to the food pools.

My preferred location on cruise ships is low and mid-ship. I love Riviera deck.

 

On the Valor, we were on Main deck, 1 deck above Riviera. We had OV cabins # 2379 & 2383......both were great. Very quiet.

 

I did not see any advantage to being up a deck higher. Next time I sail in an OV cabin, I will go back to Riviera deck because it is a little less money than Main.
