No US Direct for flight home from YVR

We debark in Vancouver on May 16 and fly home same day. HAL advises that US Direct is not available (except from YVR to cruise ship), but we can use Signature Baggage Express express. Any thoughts? Guess this cuts down on lugging suitcases thru airport. Any other thoughts?

This happens quite often. Cruiseline staff are not all familiar with this system, as it is

usually arranged onboard the ship. Here is the link to the info. Check to see if the airline

you are fying from YVR is a participant.

Yes, Air Canada is a listed airline for US Direct and Signature Express Baggage (which is run by an outside company). Will take whatever is offered onboard. Flight is not until 2 pm, so should not be a problem - just wanted to make going home less hassle.
