New to Cruising - Limit on Child's Ages?

A few of us are thinking of going on a P&O cruise to the Caribbean in a year or two. My friend is wanting to have another baby before we go. Is there an age limit on children? Do they have to be over a certain age to be accepted on board? One cruising website I visited said they had to be over 6 months, is this the case for all cruise operators?

According to the information at http://www.pocruises.com/Help/families.axd there is a lower age limit of 6 months. Although this is 1 year for certain cruises (Aurora cruises R810, R814, R819, R823, R902 and R911, Oceana cruises E827, E906, E928 and E006, Oriana cruises X802, X818, X917 and X920 and Ventura cruises N818/A, N906/A, N925 and N006).

I hope this helps.

Eddie
