Is the Totuga rum and rum cakes walking distance from the pier?

Yes. Tortuga Rum store is walking distance from the pier. At least it was last time I was there 2 years ago. Let me suggest you ask your Shopping Advisor on the ship before you go ashore. I will bet that he/she can even give you directions from the pier to the store. I will be heading their myself in a few months on a family spring break cruise aboard the Carnival Legend.

i don't know about the walking distance from the pier at George Town because we had to switch piers last week, I was at Spots. This pier is outside of George Town, if you end up here, Tortuga is definitely not within walking distance.
