My husband and I will be on this cruise as well. I am getting so excited - I'm starting to plan the clothes to pack and I'm gearing up to go buy a couple new bathing suits (always an ordeal!). I expect great weather, good food, fun times, nice people and a wonderful vacation!!

Hi FLALOLO and Bowsi! I'm one of the many people that will be sailing with you aboard the Mariner on May 23rd. You guys should sign up for the Meet and Mingle. Also, there is a link for the May 23rd cruise on this board somewhere. When I locate it I'll post it so you can share your excitement with our other shipmates!

Happy Birthday to me aboard the Mariner of the Seas!

30 days!! Wow, I'm jealous

Be sure to have one or two carry-ons, sometimes it takes a while to get your luggage. You'll want some clothes to wear at the pool, and everything you need to get ready for dinner.

Hope you have a fantastic time, can't wait to read all about it!

Hi, I booked the first week of Sept 03 and yes..it seemed like May 23rd would never get here. Now , belive or cast off in just a few more weeks...time will fly while you are preparing.

You will love the Mariner, we were on the Explorer three years ago. After 3 cruises with Carnival we are now so spoiled with RCCL. The ship is hard to even describe.

It fits our family of 4 perfect, (we are 46,39,19 and 8) and there is something for everyone.

I am already planning a cruise on the Adventure of the Seas out of San Juan for 2006.

Prepare to be pampered and spoiled!

Any of you May 23rd cruisers know what our first port will be...wonder where we are going ( to sub for Labadee) ???

I called and they told me Grand Bahamas (Freeport) YUK!!! Would rather do the Coco thing!

We (my husband and myself) have already registered the for "Meet & Mingle" for May 23rd. Does Grand Bahama Island definately mean Nassau? For some reason, I thought that meant that RCI would choose between Nassau, Freeport and Coco Cay. Anyway, I could do without Nassau or Freeport but will have a great time anyway if we end up at one of these two!! 28 days until we leave for Orlando.......

Hey there-
Our group of 20 will be sailing on the 23rd as well! From my understanding, a decision about first port of call will not be made until closer to the time. However, one person hears one thing and someone else hears something else, so who knows??

HI all!

We just got back from the Mariner on April 18th and absolutely LOVED the ship! I'm still not over my cruise withdrawal.

The surcharge for Johnny Rockets wasn't bad considering it's all the burgers, french fries and onion rings you can eat. Our waiter just kept bringing us new plates of ff and onion rings as soon as our plate was empty. Also if you are a Crown & Anchor member, you will get a coupon for a free visit. You also pay for drinks but they are also unlimited refills. All-in-all it's a good deal considering we paid over $60 for a lunch at the Johnny Rockets restaurant in Myrtle Beach a few years back.

Make sure you go to see the ice show. it was impressive.

The dining rooms are amazing and the service was terrific. Make sure you check out the Midnight Gala buffet. Even if you don't eat anything you have to see the ice and food sculptures.

If anyone has any specific questions, just ask!
