arenamara5 Posted January 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2009 What is the latest story about going to Atlantis from the cruise ship for the day?? Have heard many different reports. Some say you can take a taxi and enjoy the place on your own. Some say it cost $110 person to use facilities. Others say that they went thru the palce for free. Can you use any of the beaches? Do you have to pay for each section of the resort? Can someone who has been there recently inform me of the real story? We have four teens and four adults coming on the NCL Majesty Easter week. What can we do???
scubagirrl Posted January 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2009 What is the latest story about going to Atlantis from the cruise ship for the day?? Have heard many different reports. Some say you can take a taxi and enjoy the place on your own. Some say it cost $110 person to use facilities. Others say that they went thru the palce for free. Can you use any of the beaches? Do you have to pay for each section of the resort? Can someone who has been there recently inform me of the real story? We have four teens and four adults coming on the NCL Majesty Easter week. What can we do??? Here's the scoop. There are COMMON areas of the Atlantis which are open to the public. These include the Casino, Shopping and Lobbies in the towers and the marina Village. To view the Aquarium, passes are $35. To use the Beach (no pools or slides) the pass is $$63. To use the Beach, Pool, Slides and waterpark the pass is $105 pp. Passes are available same day, based on occupancy. Since you are going easter week, it would be a gamble to think that they would be selling passes during this extremely crowded week. If you want to enjoy Atlantis, Your best bet is to either purchase passes onboard the ship, or rent 2 rooms at either the Atlantis or Comfort Suites for full access passes. Each room will allow up to 4 ppl entry bracelets to the park. If you just want to hang out at the beach, there's a public walkway next to the RIU which is only a few 100 feet from Atlantis beach. (Atlantis does not allow outside guests to use the beach without a pass). You can rent a chair and umbrella and there are some local vendors selling rum /coconut drinks. No other amenities on the public beach. Easter week will be a zoo at Atlantis.. good luck.
