looking at your travelling date, i'd be tempted to look at the offers for travel inn/lodge kinda places... they generally do offers a good way in advance and you may strike lucky with them...

at work at mo... kinda bored so looked for ya!

assuming 4 means 2 adults and 2 children... i found this on travel lodge site ...

Hi! When My Mum and Dad came to pick me up from Ventura, they stayed at the ETAP hotel. My Mum raves about its value for money. She said that it was very very basic but clean and cheap.

Hi kdee69

We have booked to stay at the Premier In Southampton North in May. It's £52 for a family room on a weekend night, £62 on a week night. It sleeps 2 adults and up to 2 children 15 and under. Breakfast is £7.35 per adult for the full monty, £5.15 for continental. Kids under 16 eat Breakfast free. It has a Beefeater next to it and it is just off the M271 with a pretty eaay journey to the docks the next day. The details are here: http://www.premierinn.com/pti/hotelInformation.do?hotelId=23985

Bear in mind that a lot of P&O Cruises will be going from the new Ocean Cruise Terminal in the Eastern Docks as of May (ours is). It is Berth 46 and is accessible via Dock Gate 4. http://www.southamptonvts.co.uk/cruise_ship.asp

Have a great cruise.

Eddie :)
