Just off Pearl? Disembarkation question for you!

It looks like the recent Pearl sailings are the same as my April sailing (Roatan-Belize-Cozumel-GSC), so I have a question for you! The ship is scheduled to arrive back to Miami at 8:00 am. If so, was this accurate, and how quickly did they begin disembarkation? We plan to do "express disembarkation" and take our own bags. I have not done so yet, but I would like to book a 11:10 am flight out of FLL, with the assumption that our shuttle will pick us up at POM by 9:00 am (arrive at FLL by 9:45 am). I just hope I can be off the ship by 8:45-9:00 am.

Please be honest - is this too risky??

I haven't sailed on the Pearl yet, but, that is waaaay too risky.

I think it was 2 weeks ago I read about a problem clearing customs and disembarking was delayed...as well as embarkation for the next cruise.

It isn't up to the ship as to when disembarkation can begin, it is up to customs.

If you could pick a later flight you would be much safer and a lot less stressed. I don't think you want to end your vacation stressed over getting to the airport.

Have a good time though.
