crazy-dog-lady Posted February 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2009 Hi all! Quick question regarding the bed options. This is our first cruise and the options available under My Celebrity are: Apart/ Both Apart One Set Together Together/ Both Together Unknown Which one of these is for the queen bed? Is that even an option, or will there always be 2 beds pushed together? We are in Concierge Class, in case that makes any difference.
alicam Posted February 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2009 I bet 2 beds pushed together to make a queen
sheilauk Posted February 3, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2009 There will be 2 standard single beds in your cabin. These can be pushed together to make 1 larger bed. Personally we usually have our beds apart, as then we have a larger space between the beds to get dressed, move around etc. Obviously this depends on your cabin layout. I've seen some of these options listed before and they are confusing. The fact is that you have 2 choices - fastened together with filler in the middle for a larger bed or separated for two singles. Exception is a rare very small cabin here and there where separated is the only option.
Gailia Posted February 3, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 3, 2009 The together/both together option makes for the queen-size bed. Very comfy, too, I might add. My DH and I are both tall and we never felt scrunched.
crazy-dog-lady Posted February 4, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted February 4, 2009 Thanks for all your replies. I think I got it now. :D It was just so confusing. I don't understand why they just can't say "Do you want your beds separate or together?" but I guess thats just me. Thanks again to everyone who replied! Longboysfan Posted February 4, 2009 #7 Share Posted February 4, 2009 No matter what you answer in the pre cruise - the cabn attendent will adjust as you like it that day - or - night as the case may be. So it is not a problem.

Here is how I think of the meaning of the bed configurations… My DW says I’ve had one too many drinks but I insist it’s my vacation and I’ll have one more martini if I feel like it, Beds… “Apart/ Both Apart” I’m in the mood but DW isn’t, Beds… “One Set Together”;) And our normal configuration when we both are on a cruise and enjoying it, Beds… “Together/ Both Together”:) The actual configuration of your beds regardless of what you request when you first get to your stateroom… “Unknown”:D
crazy-dog-lady Posted February 4, 2009 Author #9 Share Posted February 4, 2009 X-Cruiser, thats awesome! lol But basically, I would like the beds together at all times. If my hubby gets on my nerves for any reason, he'll be on the balcony chairs ;)
