Priceline Wins For Rome

Recommended Posts

Two years ago I bid up to $190 in Rome for a 4 star and just gave up. If you want to know what winning bids are go to "biddingfortravel" or "betterbidding". I have had winning bids at Munich and Barcelona but not at $190. Tim

If you look on the two mentioned sites, you'll find that Rome is a tough city to get a bargain in.

Two years ago friends bid on PL and got the Grand Hotel de la Minerve for just under $500/night. They were unable to get space for a third person travelling since PL olny guarantees a room for two.

If I remember correctly, at the time the savings only amounted to a couple of dollars.
