I don't get this.....Radiance class are GTV which don't produce soot. How was it there was some on your balcony?

 

Don't know, but it was black, and gritty and all over the last several feet of the balcony and cleaned up nicely with a towel.

 

Perhaps it wasn't soot but some other airborne debris. It was also on the aft cabins on both sides of me.

 

Could it perhaps be soot that was deposited by the Carnival ship that passed by us in the night (LOL).:rolleyes:

Are the cabins larger too or is it just the balcony that is bigger? We have aft cabin 8168 in 21 days ...can't wait.

We had this cabin on our Alaska trip last September. FABULOUS AND ROOMY.

Perhaps a next deck up inconsiderate smoker? I have never in all my Radiance class cruises seen soot. I would like to think it came from a Carnival ship myself :eek:
