Any stay at the comfort suites fort lauderdale?

How close is it to the pier? We are taking the Star Princess 2/20/05.

Anything to do at night with three kids?

What about getting to the port?

 

Any information that anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

i booked there for 2/5/05 we can cancel up to the day before.

i called, and was told they would pick us up at the airport, so i will call them again that day to confirm it is a shuttle

they also said they had the shuttle to the port

both are free along with cont. breakfast

Comfort Suites FLL is about a mile from Port Everglades. Its situated on Federal Highway near the intersection of 17th Street (Embassy Suites, Pier 66 etc.). There is not much for the kids (or adults) in the immediate area. You can walk to nearby fast food restaurants, bait & tackle shops thats about it. If you get a cab you can take the to the Museum of Science and Discovery in downtown FLL, there's an Imax theater there as well.

If you like barbeque, Ernies Bar-B-Que is across the street. ;)
