Weather in the Med - April / May?

Hi

 

Just wondering if anyone can advise me as to what sort of weather we may get in the Med at the end of April/ start of May.

 

Can anyone advise me as to whether we should pack mainly shorts and t-shirts or will we need long trousers and maybe cardigans or fleeces. Is it chilly esp when at sea?

Bit hit and miss to be honest. There can be a world of difference between early April and late May.

 

I fout have a choice, steer towards late May, some lovely weather around.

We have already booked so we'll have to hope for good weather. Just don't want to take too many clothes!!!!!!!! DH couldn't believe how much I took last time - even I was shocked when I brought 1 whole suitcase full of clean clothes home!!!!!!!!

 

I am determined to travel lite this time - well lighter anyway!!!!!

We went in May and it was really hot. In Rome it was 38oc it was difficult to walk around outside the shade. I guess we were lucky.

I guess with the way the weather is at the moment we could get anything!!!! Looks like I'll have to pack for all eventualities!!!!!!

Early April, is a bit too early to expect good weather, my Mum-in-law was on a Aurora Med cruise last year and had cloudy rainy weather - late April may be a lot better as you are coming towards May which can be very nice.:rolleyes:
