mii Posted February 10, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2009 Anyone had this cabin? Is it any different from a regular balcony stateroom TIA:D Tia on page 2 someone asked that very question. Also go to the Search this Forum and just put in D734 and D735; all sort of posts come up on those cabins. Marilyn

rcacace Posted February 10, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2009 After having an aft cabin last month we found the constant shaking motion very unnerving & would never do it again. The same motion was on the Emerald, Ruby & Crown & appears to be a design factor among that class of ship.
Nana G Posted February 10, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2009 We have booked D733 on Emerald in April. We were told cabin is the same mini suite but balcony is a bit bigger because it is the last cabin before stairwell on Starboard side.
Cruzman Posted February 10, 2009 #6 Share Posted February 10, 2009 The main difference with this cabin is the balcony is considerably larger than those on the sides of the ship. If I was going to book a standard balcony cabin, this is one I would strongly consider.
Happy2Cruise4Fun Posted February 11, 2009 #7 Share Posted February 11, 2009 Had AFT cabin on Crown. Even had the dreaded B751 cabin with the beam and would take that cabin again in a second. The view off the back is worth it. We did not experience what we thought to be an excessive amount of shaking.

bohunk72 Posted February 11, 2009 #9 Share Posted February 11, 2009 DW and I just returned from the Emerald 1-29. We were in C752 aft cabin. Short list of our perspectives on aft cabins. Like; very private no wind while cruiseing wake view next to suites (very good steward) dislikes; Noise- while under full speed sea days the sound of the wake was about 90 db. A constant roar. wasn't too bad at slower speeds. Missed the view coming into ports. Could only see where we had been not where we were going. motion- very jerky evan with slight seas location- good if you like the buffet, bad if you love the international cafe (really got my excercise in the mornings fetching coffee. Bottom line for us--BEEN THERE DONE THAT. plan on caribe balconeys on port/starboard for 1/2 covered balconeys in the future. By the way we had another great cruise on Princess. Hello, We just got this cabin for our upcoming Baltic cruise. Do you happen to have any photos to share?
stevel45 Posted March 3, 2009 #11 Share Posted March 3, 2009 We have had that cabin for our last 5 cruises. We book as soon as the booking opens up because we can only go on kids vacation (wife is a teacher). We have been on 16 cruises and this is by far our favorite cabin. Seeing that wake is so relaxing. In the past we had many mini-suites but we book C752 because of the balcony. It is a little louder than the side but well worth it.
