JudeeJim Posted February 10, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2009 Is this dress appropriate for a formal night on a Hawaiian cruise in March? How about silver flat shoes?
klauer Posted February 10, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2009 I like the dress, but I think black heels would look much better than silver flats.
JudeeJim Posted February 10, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted February 10, 2009 I like the dress, but I think black heels would look much better than silver flats. I agree about black heels, which I have, however this dress is Navy. Now what?
klauer Posted February 10, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2009 Oops, sorry -- I guess my computer monitor is not that good with black and blue! I still think heels, even low ones, with the longer dress, but maybe someone will have a good suggestion for color.
Happy ks Posted February 10, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2009 Try pewter, especially if you can find a very dark pair. Silver shoes just stand out too much, I feel they should only be worn with very light pastel colored gowns. I don't have a problem with flats instead of heels. Heels do look nicer, but not all women can wear them. There are a lot of dressy flat shoes out there. Take the dress shopping for shoes, that way you will get a better idea of what looks best. Also, don't discount another color alltogether, as a contrast. Sorry for the huge pics, I hope these few suggestions post OK: Low heeled: For just a few suggestions.
