Subject you are leaving with MSC/COSTA your ship will call OSTSEEKAI.

 

For my taste most comfortable:

 

Rent a car from Avis - drop off your bags and return the car. Walk 10 minutes back to the Cruise Terminal.

 

Subject you are leaving from NORWEGENKAI or you do not want to drive:

It's a bus service from Hamburg Airport to Kiel Central Station. NORWEGENKAI is opposite of the Central Station.

 

Six options to continue:

 

1. walk for about 20-30 minutes

2. take the ferry what is very nice: http://www.sfk-kiel.de/linien/foerde.html to Seegarten (next to Ostseekai)

3. take the public bus: 41, 42, 43 to Seegarten Ostseekai

4. take the door-to-door-connector to Kielius which they offer

5. take the MSC-shuttle which is provided - but if you go Costa: I do not know

6. take a taxi (maybe 6-8 minutes - will not be more than 7-9 EUR).
