Luggage ETA?

Just read over on Cruise Fashion Board that many times luggage doesn't arrive in time to change for dinner 1st night.

What's the norm on Celebrity? Just changed Murano res. to 1st night but definitely don't want to go in my travel clothes and can't imagine packing a dress in a carryon piece, to say nothing of Dh's suit.

Experienced cruisers please help.

Celebrity is pretty good with luggage delivery. We've never had a problem.

We usually board early, around noon. Almost all the time our luggage is in our stateroom by mid afternoon, sometimes by 1:30 or 2PM. But we've had 2 recent occasions where one of the bags didn't arrive until around 5PM.
