If anyone is interested I have booked a tour with Crusin_n_Style, see link www.margaritaislandvacation.info/Crusin_N_Style.htm

for a 6 hr tour commencing at 10am on April 30th, reviews on Cruise Critic and Tripadvisor are excellent, the air conditioned Ford Explorer has capacity for 4 persons, so 2 places free at the moment. The intinerary for the day is :

Visit La Restinga National Park with boat trip in the Mangrove Swamp

Juan Greigo Fort

Playa El Agua Beach

La Asuncion (Capital) Cathedral/Town Square

Santa Rosa Castle

La Siierra Mountain

The tour is conducted by Marcella and Steve who speak english and have lived in Isla Margarita for 9 years and have a wealth of Knowledge on the Islands best sites.

Shared cost is $135, so $67.50 in total for 2 persons.

Please submit post if you would like to join us, we are a married couple, mid 40`s, live in Essex, looking forward in enjoying a great day, nice lunch, a couple of cold beers/cocktails along the way, with some great photo opportunities, and to get a true flavour of the island.......interested ?

We're not on this cruise, but just wanted to mention that we toured La Ascuncion Cathedral/town square and Juan Greigo Fort several years ago. They were beautiful Spanish Colonial landmarks, and were not crowded. We've also heard great reviews from fellow passengers about the wildlife and natural beauty of La Restigna lagoon, and we hope to see it on our next trip to Isla Margarita someday.
