We are just looking for little clarification and guidance:...We join the Emerald Princess in early April 09 on the Eastern Caribbean Cruise. We live in the UK and both have valid British passports and have both filled in the immigration information on the princess web site...what else do we need to do!!!!! open question I know....but your guidance would very much appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Joe....

yes you need to complete an ESTA form each. You can do it on line...it's free so don't get a web site that charges. Once complete you get a long reference number, make sure you write it down. You no need print the forms it says you won't be asked for them. The application lasts two years. If you don't get a ref number you will be transferred to another site where you have to apply for a visa, but if there's nothing wrong with your passport/citizenship you'll have no problem getting a ref number

Hi Joe,

We're part of a group of 10 from the UK on the same cruise as you:D

As per the other posters, the ESTA is all you need for immigration. A painless online process which is free. You will still need to fill out the Green I94W form as they are running both schemes alongside at the moment. You will also have to complete the Blue US Customs form 6095B. These should be given to you by the airline as you check in or on the aircraft. If you don't complete them, you will be sent to the back of the line upon arrival at the cusotms booth to do so, which is inconvenient to say the least:(.

Have you checked out the rollcall? See you onboard.:)
