casinos in canada?

Hi I am going to Canada on the Triumph in June. Are there casinos in St John or Halifax? If so, how many? I collect poker chips and would like to hit as many casinos as possible. :-)

There's a casino in Halifax. When you get off the ship just follow the boardwalk along the water for about 15 minutes and you will be there. There is also lots to see and do along the way.

Yes, there is the Hotel and Casino of Nova Scotia in Halifax. If you walk along Water Street keep going along Water Street and it will be on your right. Go past the Marriot. There is no Casino in St. John that I know of. However, on a future cruise if you go to Sydney, on Cape Breton, there is a Hotel and Casino of Nova Scotia there too I believe on George Street. It is out of the way. They also have a larger Tim Horton Coffee Shop in Sydney. Have fun and when you come back let us know how you enjoyed it. Eastern Canada is the favorite place my wife and I like to cruise to. There are a lot of really good things to do there.

I did find a Video poker machine at a Irish Pub in St John. The casino in Halifax is pretty nice, but I didn't have time to play after our trip to Peggy's cove.
