Just back from the Liberty 2/7/09 sailing (cabin 9200 - port side SS cabin) - It was a great cabin. The pictures don't express the actual size of the cabin, it's huge compared to other suites on carnival (~750 sq feet w/balcony).

 

The view toward the bow had to be one of the best views I've ever seen. The balcony, while not very private (people can look down on it from above) was great - large enough for 2 reclining deck chairs and 2 normal chairs with 2 tables. The wind wasn't bad out there, even while cruising at 22 knots.

 

The media center needed some work, it had not been hooked up yet when we started the cruise and maintenance had to install a switch under the TV which enabled the remote for the LG TV (which you have to ask for) so you could switch to the other inputs. It was kind of a round about way of doing things, and it took half the cruise to get working. The TV in the master bedroom would default to showtime when turned on and had to manually changed to the carnival channels, instead of defaulting to the 'carnival menu'.

 

The shower in the 2nd bathroom would more often than not flood the bathroom with water leaking between the tiles. The shower gel dispenser appeared to leak a little in the other restroom.

 

The doors (4), if not shut would open and close, even through they supplied door jams, I think they would be better off installing a magnetic system to hold the doors open. The two sliding doors for the main bedroom would also slide back and forth if not latched closed.

 

All in all these things were very minor and didn't take away anything from the room. I would book it again in a heart beat - but it's obvious that they are a work in progress.
