Here are just a few pics of Suite 1600. Not sure if I had reached my upload limit as it would not upload more. We have some more good pics but we'll see if this one has worked first. If it does, lets know what you think :)

We have more to show of 1600 but we are struggling with the photo uploading sites. Our files are too big for the cruise critic photo gallery site so we can only do one at a time another way with a maximum of 5 at any one time. Here's another 5.

 

I also have a short video of the room which I am trying to post. We have been on Brilliance and Radiance but we think Serenade is the classiest and we think the nicest food. In fact we are thinking of going again next February. We are from England and on our first cruise in 2003 we met some people from Ohio who have cruised with us since and they are coming that time too.

Alexpress, just a suggestion on the photos. If you upload your photos to a site like Webshots, Smugmug, or Flickr, you can just copy and paste the photos directly into your posts. You get larger pictures that way - and aren't limited by file size like when you try to upload directly to cruiseline. I believe you are still limited to 5 images, but if you have multiple images to share you can just post a link to the photos so people can go see the entire collection if they want.

So I'm booked on the Jewel of the Seas March 2010 and booked room 9256 and now looking at the photo I'm worried about too much sun for my DH who likes shade. Should we move to 9660? dlz

I guess one question you may want to check is how you would like smokers. The wonderful balcony can easily be spoiled up

We've stayed in 1602 (next door) on the Serenade and loved it. Privacy is not an issue as the other person said. I don't remember anything negative about waves or anything else except the sofabed wasn't very comfortable when we were on it (but that was a while ago...).

 

It is a long walk to the stairs/elevators but we like the exercise.

 

Book it and enjoy...you won't regret it.

Smokers are an issue. I noticed that on the Caribbean Princess last March. But it's something I will put up with for the beauty of the balcony. I think we'll stay in the 9256 for now. thanks..dlz
