Does anyone have any memorable moments from a Cruise that they would like to post? I don't mean "Embarassing" or "Funny" - unless of course those are also the most memorable to you!

Im guessing every cruise has atleast one. Here's mine:

Paradise Jan 2003 - FIRST Cruise! First Excursion, FIRST time playing in the Casino :)

Paradise Jan 2004 - Proposed to my Fiance.

Triumph Dec 2004 - (Upcoming)...going with my 86 yr old Grandparents. Not sure how many times this opportunity will happen again :(

Pride June 2005 - honeymoon!!!

Victory Feb. 2, 03

Went to art show. Stuff too expensive to bid on. Two days later I hear my name over the intercom to report to art gallery. Seems they had me down as purchasing a $3000.00 print. I almost had a heart attack!!! I enjoyed the champagne, but, not that much. When auctioneer saw me he realized I was not the person he was looking for. Whew!!!!!! Would have been an expensive trip with an ugly print to show for it. :-).

Just noticed you are in Richmond too! Hi neighbor!

My favorite cruise moment was seeing the ship for the first time. Biggest boat I have ever seen. Born and raised in WV, kinda land locked there. It was so exciting!

I've lived in the Midwest my entire life and had never actually left the Midwest until I went on a cruise last year. The most memorable moment from it was waking up at sea the day after embarkation....as I emerged from the elevator area on the Lido Deck, all I could see was blue sky and blue water for as far as I could possibly see in all directions. I'd never even seen the ocean before, and there I was, awakening to find myself in the middle of it. It was awesome!

Being awakened early morning by the maneuvering thrusters on what was supposed to be a sea day. Stumbling out onto the balcony, seeing that we were at a dead stop in the middle of the ocean, and a Coast Guard helicopter circling overhead. Shortly thereafter the CD and Captain announced over the PA that the ship was participating in a rescue of a boatload of Haitian refugees.

TankersBabe - Yep, right up 95!! Have fun with that SNOW on Sunday!

Modnar - are you KIDDING ME? When and where was that? That would be horrible!! Pretty exciting, though

It was on the Conquest this last July... on our second day at sea (I think).
