Crown Review 2/8 - 2/15

Just returned Sunday back to cold, damp UK - how I wish we were still cruising the Caribbean rough seas and all! This was our first cruise (apart from a Nile cruise which was somewhat different). Loved every minute of it and was very impressed with the ship, service, food etc etc. Was surprised that it didn't seem crowded and we could always find a quiet place when we needed to. We did 'Anytime Dining' and ate in Michaelangelo and Da Vinci dining rooms. We don't eat until 8.30 - 8.45 so never had to wait and just walked straight in each time. Enjoyed our cabin which was on Caribe deck C430 with a large balcony. We were on the sunny side coming back when the seas were calmer so were able to make good use of the balcony. Our cabin was ideally situated being in the centre of the ship so even in the very high seas we weren't troubled by too much movement. I slept like a baby all week and didn't notice the large bang one night that everyone was talking about the next day. Had fun doing line dancing classes in the stormy weather! Also very impressed with embarkation and disembarkation. We did a walk-off and were off the ship by 7.20 am, took a cab to the airport, picked up a hire car and were on the road up to Orlando by 8.0 am. Will certainly be doing another cruise and would go on Crown Princess again for sure.

I appreciate you sharing your experiences with us. Do you go to any of the shows or try your luck in the casino?

We went to 3 shows and were very impressed especially with the Cole Porter Tribute and the excellent comedians. Didn't try our luck in the Casino as we never have any luck in casinos - been to Las Vegas several times and never won a cent!
