BoisBobertGirl Posted February 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2009 I am traveling on the Crown Princess, will the cabins offer irons and clothes hangers or should I take my own?
Caribbean Sunsets Posted February 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2009 There will be plenty of hangers and if you do need more, just ask your cabin steward. There is an iron and ironing board in the self serve laundry...or if it's just one or two items, you can send them out for pressing. Have a great cruise. I loved the Crown! You should also go to the roll call page and find the roll call for the cruise you are on. You'll be able to start chatting with others on your cruise! I've met some fabulous people on roll call. Sandytoes Posted February 19, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2009 I have never done laundry on a cruise. However, each passenger deck has a laundry room. Washers, dryers, iron boards, and irons.
BoisBobertGirl Posted February 19, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted February 19, 2009 I hope I don't have to do laundry either but it's good to know it's available. Thanks!
can786 Posted February 19, 2009 #6 Share Posted February 19, 2009 The cruiseline prohibits passengers from bringing their own irons onboard for fire safety reasons. The irons in the laundry rooms have timers on them to automatically turn off.
highflyingrealtor Posted February 21, 2009 #7 Share Posted February 21, 2009 I think the laundry room is a perk to take advantage of. First day after unpacking a quick trip to iron out all your wrinkles and you're crisp & good to go. Pack a few less items and plan on doing a load midweek. Put it in the washer, go workout, throw it in the dryer, go have a drink, and you're done!:)
