LadyBelynda Posted February 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2009 If anyone has any feedback on this excursion please post your experience. In Grand Cayman we booked Cayman Pirate Encounter. I just wanted to see if anyone has done this and how they felt about it. Never been on the excursions before, always just stay at port and looked around. Thanks for any information shared. Thanks for any information shared. :)We did the Cayman Pirate Encounter in July 2007. It was a blast! There was a pirate on board dressed like Jack Sparrow--what a hit that was for my 8-year old son! This pirate shot a cannon at our cruise ship and then the kids got to "swab the deck" with either a sliver of a cloth, toothbrush or toilet brush. After that they said a silly pirate oath. The pirates also "captured" two prisioners and dumped ice water over them. A highlight of this excursion was being able to jump off the side of the ship or walk the plank into the crystal clear water of the Caribbean Sea. Free soda's and rum punch were served on board. I have attached a link to our Pirate Encounter excursion in Grand Cayman. This should help give you a clearer picture of what to expect on this excursion. LadyBelynda Posted February 25, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted February 25, 2009 Oh that was wonderful thank you so much for sharing.. May I ask a question? 1. I saw you did some video, so what did you do with your camera when you jumped off the ship? I am so happy you posted I was worried that it would be a waist of time, but it looked like it was fun. :D

We also had a disposable water proof camera which we used for taking pictures in the water.
