SeaTrekkie Posted November 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 24, 2004 We are first time cruisers and will sail on the Mariner on June 5th. I was booking our shore excursions through RCL based on the advice from the "First Time Cruisers" forum. At Grand Cayman, The Nautilus Undersea Tour/Snorkel Adventure is NOT listed as available on this cruise. Does this mean that Grand Cayman hasn't recovered enough to post this excursion yet and may as we get closer to sail date or does it mean the tour is a "no-go" for everybody. If the tour is simply not available for Mariner passengers who book through RCL, is it possible to book this tour separately with the Nautilus people? I really need some advice, because neither of us scuba and I really don't like sting rays.....which eliminates all the "available" tours being offered by RCL. Help?? safety300 Posted November 24, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 24, 2004 The equipment may not have been repaired yet, the waters around the island are in good shape now with good visibility, but many docks and boats are still out of service. Check Caymannetnews for updates.
swysong77 Posted November 24, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 24, 2004 Here is their web site: http://www.nautilus.ky/ My boyfriend and I booked online (got a discount) for our Mariner cruise in September. I wouldn't hesitate to book directly through Nautilus instead of RCCL - it's less expensive, and they were very nice folks. Have a great cruise!!
