Playa cornona snorkeling

I have heard that you can rent snorkel equipment at Playa Corona for around 12.00. Is that for a certain amt. of time or is that by the hour? Is there a cover charge at this beach now and is it still easy to get a taxi back and forth?

Hi We were there last week. It is $12 for all day to rent snorkel equipment. I think diving equipment was about $38. No cover charge to use there chairs and tables... but they do ask you at least buy a snack or drink.
