Daylight Savings Time in Belize?

Does Belize convert to Daylight Savings Time? If so when?

 

I'm trying to figure out if we come in at 8am on 4/8 what time it will be in Belize. We have a 8:30 excursion I want to be sure we don't miss.

I'll be on the same cruise as you. According to timeanddate.com, Belize does not have DST, so when we move ahead an hour, we will be two hours ahead of them. So, on 4/8, 8:30 AM ship time will be 6:30 AM Belize time.

 

Be sure to ask the excursion folks whether departure is ship time or local time. My cave tubing excursion made it clear that they depart at 9:15 AM SHIP time.
