To book or not to book

for the stringray trips while in Grand Cayman?

Can one get a trip while on the dock with out reservations?

Should I go ahead and book just in case since no one knows if we are going to get to stop here?

Looks like most people book ahead, but look down the posts to "Beware of Sotos on Grand Cayman". Apparently, Soto's cancelled his trip because they didn't get enough reservations that day, but he was able to find an excursion right at the dock.

We sail out on Sunday on the Spirit and I have been told by trusted friends that it is quite simple to book when you arrive in port. There are stands to the left of port where you can book excursions to sting ray city etc. I will post when I return, but that may be too late for you to make a decision. Good Luck!

We are going in January and this will be our second trip to GC. I would book ahead with Nativeways. We booked on the pier last time and our tour barely made it back to the ship on time. If you book early you can get on an early morning tour!
