Various Paynes Bay questions

The first time we were in Barbados we toured on the Silver Moon and loved it! This time we are traveling with my parents and I am having a difficult time convincing them of the cost of the Silver Moon tour. I figured we could go to Paynes Bay and arrange a snorkel tour with an independent operator.

 

What is the approximate cost for a taxi to Paynes Bay? Do they charge per ride or per person?

 

What is the cost for a snorkel tour with turtles in a glass bottom boat? Do they provide snorkel gear?

 

Are there restaurants or local spots to eat at for lunch that you would recommend that are reasonable?
