just back from the spirit today!!!

We did not do the excursions and talked to many who did.

Yes, you can book the dolphin swim thing yourself and save almost $80 per person.

 

Some friends did it this way and said it was just fine. A Taxi from the port will cost $10 one way.

We're going Christmas week and will try the Dolphin Swim in Ixtapa on our own and will write about our experience on our return. We visited the dolphin place about two years ago but didn't have time to participate then, so we're going back to see if we can make it work this time!
