If docks at 8:00, what time get off ship?

Recommended Posts

We are trying to buy tickets for the Hypogeum in Malta. The ship docks at 8:00. The only tickets available are at 10:00. Could we make it? I believe it is a 20 - 30 minute bus ride to get there.

Also, it says to get on the ship two hours before sailing. Ship sails at 3:00 according to the itinerary. Is this really the sailing time or the time they want you back on the ship? Do they tell you two hours just to make sure you are early?

thanks - I tried the search and didn't find the answers

Be back 2 hours before sailing? That's seems really conservative for a ship. In ur experience its usually 30-60 minutes for a dock port and 60 minutes for a tender port. If you are docked, I think you would be fine with the 10:00 booking.

We discovered a little late in our cruise that they were actually letting people off before it was announced. If you are ambitious I would suggest being down there about 7:30 & see how soon they'll let you off. I sure will next time.
