We were just given an american express 'free' tour in St. Maarten. Has anybody ever heard of this. We are mainly concerned that this may be a come on for selling us something. We don't have american express but our travel agency is associated with them. Should we do the tour?

We were offered an American Express free tour on our Galaxy Med cruise last October. It turned out to be the best tour we took. Our TA is also an American Express affiliate, and it seems that if there are enough booked they put a Mariners Club host on the cruise. Mariners Club is an American Express cruise club with different levels forthe number of times you have booked a cruise using an American Express card or Affiliate TA.

We also had a cocktail parties on board. It was a very pleasant surprise.
