Wyndham/Atlantis/Straw Market

I'm very interested in Atlantis, seeing it, but have no real desire to spend so much money on the waterpark. It's just four of us girls, no kids, so I'm thinking we can go to the Wyndham during the day, leave about 3pm and take a taxi over to Atlantis and walk around, see the hotel and casino and then stop at the straw market on the way back to the ship so we can make our 8pm dinner time on the ship. Does this sound doable? Can we check out the hotel and casino for free at Atlantis? What about the gift shops at Atlantis? I know I read there was a fee for the dig if we want to see that but didn't know about just walking around the grounds. Does anyone know, is there a place at the Wyndham we could change from beach clothes to regular clothes? Thanks!

keep in mind that the straw market will start closing at 5pm.. so you may want to go there before heading over to Atlantis.

 

You can use the gym locker rooms to shower and change. They are on the ground floor at the bottom of the escalators
