There is a great public transportation system and the cab are regulated. I think you may be much better off doing that. Under normal conditions there are great agencies right near the dock. Also the roads are still under repair and manpieces of heavy equipment picking up debris from Ivan. As far as other things to do, there is the Turtle Farm, hopefully Atlantis will be up a nd running by then or just get the cabby to take you on a tour specialised for you.
