gt95stang Posted March 21, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2009 I'm struggling to find something to do on our stop in Belize and I read about this in a tour book. From their website (http://www.howlermonkeys.org) I can see that you can get a walking tour for a mere $7.00. What I can't figure out is how far away it is and what the most economical method of getting there is. I read one thread from several months ago that indicated a round trip taxi ride (with a few side stops) was $100. Are there any local guides that will take you out there and back for a bit less than that? If anyone can recommend someone, I'd appreciate it. Also, my wife attracts mosquitos like rust on a muffler. If we head out there, is she going to get eaten alive? If so, we'll probably skip it. Thanks.
