Yes, we paid on a credit card last year for our tickets - you just need your pin number.

Why a PIN number for a charge?

Many places in Europe now only take credit cards that are chip protected. The chip protected cards come with a pin. I called my CC company and they sent a replacement that is chip protected. Can be used where pin is not necessary as well.
