Seven Mile Beach question

I'm debating between Seagrape and Royal Palms for a beach getaway. I read that Seagrape doesn't have very good snorkeling. We are debating on whether to bring our masks and snorkels onshore that day or just relax on the beach. Does Royal Palms have any good snorkeling? If so, we might throw in our bags for the trip. If not we will just do chairs and umbrellas.

Thanks in advance. Oh by the way, this is last minute...leaving on Saturday. This is cruise number 12, but not nearly as scheduled as the others have been. Just looking to wind down.

The water at Royal Palms wasn't that great for snorkeling. It's okay, but there were hardly any fish. I used my mask for about five minutes. It is a beautiful beach and we enjoyed walking and sitting on the beach more than swimming.
