jjtlawoffice Posted April 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2004 What type of religious services are offered? Specifically, we will be on the NOS docked at Nassau on Sunday. Does the ship have services available? If so, how do you determine this (i.e. the type) ahead of time. How do we determine what is available in Nassau. gsebast Posted April 29, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2004 On every ship we have been on (18 in all)there have been services on Sunday, and special religious holidays. Our last cruise this year, we were on board for Ash Wed. and there was a service and offering of ashes. Ususally there is a Interdenominational Service, and a Catholic Mass. They will be shown in the daily events sheet on all the cruise lines(daily compass on RCL). You may have a conflict with tours or other events, as there is usually only one Service, and you will have to make a decision. Hope this helps, George and Louise in the Chicago Area
blklabfan Posted April 29, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2004 We were on Zuiderdam last Easter ('03) and they had a sunrise service while we were pulling into Key West. EOS 12/02 Zuiderdam 4/03 AOS 12/03 Till the Grandeur (05/21)
Driftwoodgal Posted April 29, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2004 Splendour of the seas had a catholic mass every day in February. They had it in several different places and at different times. It was posted in the Compass each day. God bless you and yours.
