Ncl dawn vs ncl pearl

We are debating between taking the Dawn to the Southern Carribean and the Pearl to the Eastern Carribean next year. Any suggestions? How do the ships and itteneries compare?

I can't comment on the itineraries, but we have been on both ships. I think they're more similar than they are different. The Dawn has a prettier atrium with glass elevators. One thing we did miss on the Dawn was the Great Outdoors in the buffet.

I agree. The primary benefit on the Pearl is the improved buffet (action stations) and the Great Outdoors. For some, the pool slide is an attraction as well. I love the Gem and the Pearl!!

We lovd the great outdoors, is there anywhere nearby we could take food from the regular buffet on the Dawn to eat tht is outdoors?
