Mobile lodging help PLEASE!

My wife and I are headed to Mobile on Sunday the 5th for our cruise on the Holiday on Monday. I have reservations at a hotel, however, not being familiar with the city and the port, any suggestions on places to stay. Would you please give me a hint as to where the Carnival terminal is located. We would like to stay somewhere close. Thanks!

If you're booked anywhere near the water or downtown, you're ok. The terminal is off Water Street. Actually, you can get almost anywhere from one end of Mobile to the other in 20 minutes.:)
