Hi Guys,

Were going on our first cruise in April on the famous Ventura!!

Please does anyone know if having a cabin right next to the lifts is a problem for noise?

Also do you think a Balcony stateroom is big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids??

Thanks:)

How old are your kids? If they are younger and don't require a lot of bathroom time, then the balcony is probably fine. If they are teenagers/pre-teen, I'd probably look more at connecting rooms or one balcony and then an inside room right across the hall. But if having two staterooms is too expensive, you can certainly make do with one balcony.

The elevators are nice to be close too, and I don't know that I've heard too many complaints about noise. We stayed once near the forward elevators and didn't hear anything, but these also weren't used much either. If they are the mid-ship elevators, you might hear more. But probably wouldn't be enough to make me move to another room.

Hope that helps.
