Deciding on Yukon Rail and Bus excursion

We have decided we want to book the Yukon rail and bus excursion. We are debating between taking it with NCL which is $190 each for 8 hrs or Chilkoot Tours for $175 for 7.5 hours. Has anyone taken either of these tours? If so what is your opinion of it? If you have done the NCL one, what time does it depart?

Haven't been there yet, but did a whole lot of reserach, sent letters to chilkoot, talked to the rest of the people in the group I am going with and we have all decided on Chilkoot. Partly because Carnival did not contract anyone for a tour longer than 4 hours, train up and back, and we wanted to go further, see Emerald lake, and see the puppies too. We are totally satisfied with our decision. Good luck. Let us know what you decide.
