lovelyladi Posted April 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2004 We have been on Princess numerous times but want to try RCL now. What are the major differences we can expect in terms of cabins, food, entertainment, age of cruisers etc and anything else you can think of. superjerryw Posted April 30, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2004 I think you will find them very similar overall. RCCL may cater a little more to families so if you travel during a time frame when school is not in session you may find more kids on board. The only significant difference would be RCCL's Voyager class ships which Princess has nothing to compare to. BLUEICE Posted April 30, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2004 One big difference between the two is fresh water (Princess) versus salt water pools (RCCL). Another difference would be the dining options. RCCL does not offer personal choice. You either have to pick first or second seating. Have been on the Grand and Voyager and I enjoyed both ships.
