Should I be wary of taxi and tour companies that will only quote prices in Euros and not dollars?

If they were coming to the states, I doubt very seriously that our companies here would quote in EURO.

 

I booked a lot of my tours with www.viator.com, so it would be quoted and paid in US $ for that very reason.

I should have specified that I am dealing with a St. Petersburg taxi company. I know that they have the ruble, and are quoting me a price in Euro, which I am then figuring into US $.
