lgmg Posted April 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2009 I am cruising on the Carnival Freedom on July 4 and am trying to decide if I should do the cruise through the canal by the ferry or see the canal via the two oceans by rail tour. Some reviews says the canal tour is very long and hot for this time of year. Does anyone have any suggestions which tour would be better? Any input would be appreciated. cruisinlawn Posted April 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2009 We are also trying to decide for our May sailing. I have read the ferry is 2hr bus ride, 2 hr ferry, and another 2 hr bus ride returning to ship. Have also read it can be very hot on the ferry. Know if the buses have A/C? I'd like to find more bout the rail in relation to a timeline. WHat little I have found it sounds very nice but I'm not sure of time. Will keep looking .
