Just Back From My Destiny 3/23 - 3/28

This was my 3rd cruise with carnival for me and my wife but 1st for my sister and Mother. we decided to spend the night at my moms the night before so we can all get ready and leave together. we take a cab to the airport for our fligh tthe day of. everything went smooth, as i alwsys fly in the day of the cruise so i wasnt worried. we get to miami and catch a cab to the pier. pass our bags off to the baggage handlers with a nice tip.( 2 out of the 4 bags were destroyed more on that later) now getting onto the Ship was a bit tedious with the long lines but we persevered and made it lol i was a little dissapointed that they no longer had the miami welcome aboard pic when you walk thru the grass, but the pic we did take was nice.

we got on the boat at 1:20pm and proceeded to our rooms hoping our bags were there, no such luck. we decide to head to the lido to grab a bite to eat and i noticed a few cut backs on the food carnival served. it was still good but not what i remmebered. the hot dogs were def different, no more fruit punch and now the ice tea has no sugar lol that was weird to me so basically you were to drink lemonade or water. the new yorks deli cornbeef and pastrami wasnt as good and they acted as if putting extra meat was gonna bankrupt the place lol i tipped him a few bucks and he gladly did it , but it wasnt what i was expecting, gave it a try once more but was dissapointed in the taste.

i was suprised at the chicken fingers, they were delicous as were the burgers, the chinese place was barely open and carnival would close it at 330 but would have it open all day during excursions , by the time u get to the boat it was closed.

the jacuzzi's were ice cold, isnt that unsanitary? i didnt care but alot of folks complained about this.also this boat rocked like never before lol it wasnt a violent rocking but it swayed a whole lot. my last 2 cruises i barely felt the moving but this one was rocking that thing lol i came to say my other cruises were 7 days so there was no rush, and this was a 5 day so we had to kind of rush to make these islands??? i hope that was the reason, cause this boat was going.

we always ate at the sit down lated 8:15 dinner. our waiters were so nice and we were able to order all the stuff we wanted. no attitude or anything. they knew names from the first day and never forgot . the dancing was so nice and our waiters fiance was the lil lady on the table grinding lol we teased him alot cause of how fresh she danced lol the sit down dinner and inside buffet were so great. this is what saved the food for me on the trip ohhhh and the room service!! man that was some good stuff.

my wife, sis and mother were the party animals as i decided i wanted to use my vacation to really relax and take it easy. my mother knew about 3 forths of the ship lol she barley sleeps so she was out on th elido all times of the night smoking and mingling, my sister was exploring like dora and my wife was party animal lol tehy danced so much at the club all there ankles and legs were hurting lol showing everybody how to do the stanky leg dance lol

Nassau Bahamas was cool, we did the dolphin encounter at blue lagoon and it was so nice, the weather was a lil cold but i still enjoyed my self.

Half Moon Cay wow!!! what a gorgeosu place, from the sand to the water i would love to go back and just stay there. again was to cold for me outside but not for the 3 musketeers lol they swam the day away.

Turks and caicos was gorgeous, i swam there and really enjoyed the water and scenery. it was rocky as hell but i really enjoyed it.

on the last day i went to the casino finally, and i was there from opening 9am and i saw the dealer i wante dfor black jack lol he didnt open till 10am so i waited. he was young guy and figgedy, so i pounced on him, just m and him playing. he didnt count the cards faster then i did and i had to tell him countless times he was at 17 and he cnt hit.i was black jacking on big bets like crazy. everytime i win big i put stacks in my pocket. finally my wife joins as well as other people and i hit one last big bet and i cash out. they ask me to cash out at the table and i pull all my chips from my pocket lol the lady sitting next to me asks am i a professional lol as they count me out im a lil over 400 and started with 40 dollars lol that was the perfect ending to my cruise. i really enjoyed the vacation. carnival is really the best, about the destiny being old thats nonsense, you cant tell how old she is if you didnt know already. she stacks up to any other boat and i would def do it again, just for the itenirary alone.:D
