Overtyme Posted December 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 1, 2004 Did I hear right? A tropical storm in December? I'm not sure how common it is, but maybe as common as the Red Sox winning the World Series (sorry - had to get my digs in there some how being from New York). Anyway - I'm going on the Serenade in a few days and was concerned for my inlaws (not so much for myself since I've been through a few hurricanes on the Bermuda run from NYC during hurricane season) that the seas may be rough in the Southern Caribbean. Hope this won't affect our smooth sailing in a few days. It's my understanding that it's moving East and away from land. Here's to hoping!! bUU Posted December 1, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 1, 2004 I believe it is much further North than that... east of Bermuda, by 800 miles, so no where near the Caribbean. And it is heading North and then Northeast, so heading away from the Caribbean.
