OK trying to figure Aug 23 Oosterdam missing cabins

Hi All,

I know sometimes HAL makes cabins disappear and then re-appear when booking, but on the Oosterdam Aug 23 cruise the last few days (on several different web sites including HAL’s) show no availability on ALL inside and ocean view cabins.

Now, I’m aware (but never heard of) a group on this cruise called “lets Dance Vacations”. Is this group large enough to pull in all those cabins or is there something else going on?

Hi John, same thing is happening on our Noordam cruise for 8/27. kinda far out to be totally sold in all inside, outside and VF categories, and the prices also shot up noticably. ???:confused:

I didn't even notice but the prices have gone up a little. So what the heck:confused:. I know for a fact there were a lot of inside and OV cabins available so it's can't be they are sold out. Maybe they gave a on-line TA company a huge block to sell???? But all insides and OV's:confused:

HAL will sometimes do this. I am not sure exactly what they are doing when they withdraw all inventory for a few days, but it does happen. It drove me crazy too! While it is possible that all cabins have been bought up, based on HAL's pattern this year, it is more likely to be some sort of HAL juggling thing. I have also noticed that prices may go either up or down after they do this.
